Ever since De Dietrich launched the first range of vitroceramic hobs with integrated knobs in 1985, De Dietrich has stayed at the forefront of domestic appliance design.
In 1993, the launch of "Obsidiane" renowned as being the pinnacle of the range of built-in appliances. The Ceramic hob with the Lotus burner was being developed in 1995. De Dietrich revolutionises ceramic hobs with yet another developement: the Quickstar Plus cooking zones. The year 2000 witnessed the ovens with touch controls. In 2003, the "Pedestal" frame for glass surface hobs became one of its kind in the market. De Dietrich is also proud to receive the innovative & industrial design Janus prize in 2004 for the MATRICS Oven, the most innovative matricial colour display ever invented, INFINITY Induction cook top and Intelligent Control System Hood.

Since the initial experimental launch of electronic ovens in 1977, various innovations have come to life, to reward investment made in research and development. Constant developments have been launched throughout the range in washing, cooking and cooling.
In 1997, De Dietrich manufactured the first steam ovens in the market. The widest zone in the market was born in 1999: a 28cm induction zone. In 2001, HCH System and Collection 38 were launched. The ICS (Intelligent Control System) technology in cooking and dishwashing were patented in 2003. The year 2000 witnessed the ovens with touch controls. De Dietrich continues to innovate and introduces the Low Temperature Professional cooking programme in 2005. In 2007-2008, De Dietrich pushed beyond its boundaries and put together the Colour matrics oven - FIRST ON THE MARKET, BREAD oven programme, 38cm Domino hobs & the Zoneless Continuum Induction hobs. At the same time, the QUATTRO dishwashers won the "Prize of Innovations 2007".

Over 20 years ago, De Dietrich invented Multifunction Plus, offering better cooking performance combined with new features and increased safety. Since then, De Dietrich has consistently been at the forefront of technological developments, which has translated into regular groundbreaking product launches.
In 1982, Pyroclean oven range became the FIRST of its kind iN THE MARKET. The Cool door transcends its safety feature for ovens in 1997. In another 3 years, the Eolyse® and Pyroclean® functions appear exclusively on ovens. To excel as the most powerful in the market, the Induction Boost zones (3600W) were developed. In 2003, the ICS oven with menu control and the Induction hobs with start control programmer created the excitment in the cooking arena. In recent years of 2007-2008, the Full Colour Matrics Oven and Zoneless Continuum Induction hobs were born in the market.
The 2009 new collection is borne on the same tradition of technological mastery, innovations and passion, intrinsic values the brand has been building on for more than 300 years.
